In January 2020 I'm going to be in Central Africa for the the very first time.

From the website of the organizer:

Cameroon – The combination of pristine riverine and terrestrial ecosystems make this area around Faro River to one of the last relatively untransformed representations of Sahelo-Sudanian ecosystems and the West African savannah habitats. A geographically special 120km section of Faro River, bordering the Faro National Park, offers you an unique flyfish adventure.

The Fishing

To catch a Nile perch is very exciting in this area. You can do it from the riverbank in midst of the african fauna. The Nile perch is out of all freshwater giants the one with the most exciting drills. He is very similar to the smallmouth bass but so much harder to catch.
