Cuba: Jardines de la Reina, May 2021

The obstacles were huge: Covid really complicates travelling this year. But it would not be me, if I let this put me off. And what can I say? The effort was worth it a hundred times over.

Never in a million years would I have imagined this: The fishing in the Jardines de la Reina was the best I‘ve experienced there so far. Our group celebrated one success after another: We hooked a total of 461 tarpon and landed 162 of them!

To top it off, we had seven permits with seven Grand Slam on our boat. An unforgettable experience for all of us.
